Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Calm Cloud Connect app. By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Calm Cloud Connect
Calm Cloud Connect is a children's wellbeing app designed to support the emotional health of young people in school settings. The app is made available to schools, parents, and guardians for use by children under the age of 18.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration
The Calm Cloud Connect app is intended for use by children under the age of 18, under the supervision and management of a school, parent, or guardian.

3. Use of the App
Calm Cloud Connect is provided solely for the purpose of supporting children's emotional wellbeing. By using the app, you agree to the following:

4. Subscriptions

Calm Cloud Connect offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features within the app.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on the device used. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan. Subscriptions may be managed, and auto-renewal turned off, in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which access to paid features will be removed. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription time.

How to Cancel on iOS (Apple App Store):
Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Calm Cloud Connect → Cancel Subscription and confirm.

How to Cancel on Android (Google Play Store):
Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Calm Cloud Connect → Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Cancel Directly Within the App:
For Android: Tap the Cancel Subscription button on the Subscription screen.
For iOS: You will be redirected to the Apple App Store subscription settings to cancel.

Whichever method you use, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. Calm Cloud Connect does not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google support for refund queries.

Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated at the point of subscription. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial ends, the subscription will convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Access After Subscription Ends

If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or payment fails, access to paid features will be suspended until an active subscription is reinstated. Free features of the app will remain accessible.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the Calm Cloud Connect app — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, video, and software — is the property of Calm Cloud Connect or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Safety

The safety of children using Calm Cloud Connect is our highest priority. We operate in compliance with applicable child safety laws and regulations.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Calm Cloud Connect is designed to support children's emotional wellbeing and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

No Medical Advice

The content provided within the app is for general wellbeing and educational purposes only. If you have concerns about a child's mental health, please seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Availability

We aim to keep the app available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm Cloud Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Third-Party Services

The app may integrate with third-party services, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for subscription billing. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review independently.

Calm Cloud Connect is not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated, or where continued access poses a risk to the safety of children or the integrity of the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Any material changes will be communicated to schools and made available within the app.

Your continued use of the app following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
